RAWALPINDI: Two teenagers, who have been diagnosed with cancer, had their lifelong wish fulfilled by becoming soldiers of Pakistan Army for a day by Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the girls 13-year-old Javeria Alam and 15-year-old Ruba Rafique expressed their wish to become soldiers of Pak Army.
The Lahore corps commander, on behalf of the army chief, made them honoury soldiers for a day.
Later, Jeveria and Ruba laid a floral wreath at the Yadgar-e-Shuhada and offered prayers at the monument.
