Islamabad: Former Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has filed a pre-arrest bail plea in the Islamabad High Court.
Petitioner in his petition took the plea that NAB has summoned him on March 27and there are chances of his arrest too; therefore IHC should order NAB to not to arrest him.
Petitioner further said that he has no connection with the money laundering and his name was included in the case on political basis.
Petitioner prayed court that he should not be arrested till the hearing is completed.
Chairman NAB Justice Retd Javed Iqbal and DG NAB have been made respondents in the petition.
NAB is doing investigation in case pertaining to illegal land allotment in Malir Development Authority and it has summoned Qaim Ali Shah for investigation tomorrow.
