AJK Govt announces mourning on Monday over Christchurch mosques attack

MIRPUR (AJK): Azad Jammu Kashmir government has announced a day-long mourning across the state on Monday – March 18, in memory of the victims of the terror attacks on the worshipers during Friday prayer in two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, it was officially announced.

The national and AJK flags will remain at half mast in mourning of the bloody carnage of the innocent Muslims to mark severe condemnation of the tragic incident besides to express sympathies with the bereaved families, an official notification issued by the AJK government on Sunday said.

Special prayers would be offered for upholding of the status of martyrs in Jannah and for grant of courage to the bereaved families to bear the loss with courage
