Washington: Pakistan’s ambassador to US Asad Majeed has met with US senators.
Issues regarding tension between Pak-India , overall security situation in the South Asian region and bilateral ties between Pakistan and Us came under discussion during the meeting.
Asad Majeed held separate meetings with US chairman arms services committee senator James Inhofe and senator of US state affairs committee.
Asad Majeed informed the US senators about the current situation of Pak-US ties during the meeting.
He also informed the US lawmakers regarding peace and stability in Afghanistan through political process.
US legislatures have underscored the need to work together to achieve mutual targets.
