Lahore: Live stock Department has delayed the PM’s chicken plan to alleviate poverty till the beginning of next financial year in Punjab upon PM’s directives.
Livestock Department has said that a set of one cock and five hens was provided in Rs 1200; however, the number of applicants has been increased as compared to number of cocks and hens sets.
Livestock Department has said that now sets of one cock and five hens will be given in the new financial year.
However, from July chicken set will be given in Rs 850 rather than in Rs 1200.
