Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) Mathar Niaz Rana, Chief Secretary Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir has said good governance, service delivery and development planning will be further improved in AJ&K.
While addressing a meeting called for consultation on multiple issues related to the governance
And development, the Chief Secretary said that the first priority of the government was to provide good governance to the people of AJ&K so their issue could be resolved at their door steps and process of development further expedite.
The Chief Secretary directed to prepare short and long term frame work for the resolution of people’s issues.
“Government got sufficient development funds and to better usage of these funds, development planning has key importance so development targets could be achieved.”
“To strengthen the state economy and creation of new jobs it is very imperative to invest here and in this regard there is huge potential in tourism and hydra sector” he emphasized.
The Chief Secretary said, Law and Order situation is ideal in the AJ&K and this thing is very attractive for the investors.
In the meeting suggestions for improvement of Governance, suggestions for improvement of Service delivery, suggestions for Development Planning and Empowerment, initiative and Drive by Secretaries, prioritization of issues for short term and long term planning, decentralization and delegation of functions and powers required, visit of a delegation of 50 businessmen for investment in AJ&K and Departmental performance review sessions came under discussion.
