Lahore: Government of Punjab has decided to introduce “E-Tendering” in order to eliminate corruption and to introduce transparency in the government contracts.
CM Punjab Usman Buzdar has given approval of the decision of introducing E-tendering in the government contracts that will be applied from the next financial year.
CM Punjab said that the purpose behind E-tendering system is to eliminate the corruption and to introduce transparency in the government contracts.
He said this system will be implemented soon in the government departments.
He said that this E-Tendering system will be implemented under phases while from the new financial year all departments will be bound to give contracts under this E-Tendering system.
