Says Kashmiris can plead their case better at international level,
MUZAFFARABAD: (Parliament Times) The AJK minister for Civil Defense Ahmed Raza Qadri said Kashmiris should stand united to garner international support.
Talking over a resolution in AJK legislative assembly on Tuesday he said Pakistani ambassador admitted that it was due to effective lobbying of Kashmiris that debate on human rights abuses held in European Parliament recently was a great success. He said Kashmiris could present their case better at international level. He said all the political parties should highlight Kashmir issue on international forums and there should be complete unity among their ranks and file.
Qadri said he was monitoring the supply of goods being provided to the firing affected people, rehabilitated in different camps in AJK.
He appealed to Prime Minister Imran Khan and Punjab Chief Minister to dismiss Punjab Information Minister Fayyazul Hassan Chuhan for badmouthing against people of Kashmir.
Minister for Livestock Ch. Ismail demanded the house that Kashmiri delegation should be sent to middle eastern countries for mobilizing them in Pakistan’s favour on Kashmir issue. Ch. Masood Khalid supported all the resolutions presented in the house while MLA Diwan Mohiuddin was of the view that Modi should be called Terrorist in the resolutions presented in the House. Modi treated all the minorities highhandedly, he observed. He lauded the performance of PAF and armed forces of the country for giving a befitting response to Indian aggression.
Minister for Rehabilitation Raja Muhammad Siddique lauded the performance of armed forces. Ch. Muhammad Saeed was of the view that small delegations should be sent to a number of countries abroad for highlighting brutalities of Indian forces in IOK. Farooq Sikandar said his district was one of the most affected areas. He said federal government should extend relief to the people of Kotli.
