Pakistan was not under any pressure, compulsion to release Indian captured pilot: FM

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said “ we want to give message of peace, therefore, we decided to release captured pilot of India and there was no pressure or compulsion on us for freeing the pilot.
“ Government will not allow anyone for proliferation of terrorism and if any group does so then we intend to take action against it”he said this while talking to BBC Urdu .

He went on to say “ we wanted to give message to India that we want only peace and we did not want to aggravate their sorrows. We don’t want maltreatment with your citizens. Government will not allow any militia or militant organization to use weapons or spread terrorism , he added.
He held responsibility devolves on both the countries to maintain peace in the region and if evidences are provided about Jaish-e-Muhammad then action will be taken at every cost.

He underlined Pakistan does not want to go in the past and if we go in the past then we will have to see how attack had taken place in Pathankot, Udi and parliament which is a long story. If any group does so then Pakistan government intends to take action against them.
He observed the peace of the region should not be risked over politics.

To a question about Jaisho-e-Muhammad which has accepted responsibility of terror attack in Pulwama he said there are extremist elements in every society. Are there not such elements in India. What happened in Gujarat. Who was behind it and at whose behest it took place.
