LONDON: Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan reiterated that he was in contact with Chief Secretary and his cabinet ministers from UK regarding situation at Line of Control. Talking to media before leaving for Heathrow airport on Saturday he said India had intensified firing at LoC to give vent to its rage for its two war aircraft which were downed by Pakistan forces. He lauded the courage of people living close to the border for braving Indian forces firing and assured them that his government would take good care of them. Mr. Haider directed district administrations to ensure availability of adequate flour supply and other facilities to the affected people at LoC. The needs of those who have been accommodated in temporary camps because of indiscriminate Indian firing should also be looked into, he stressed. He said these people are our first defense line who would never be left alone in this hour of trials and tribulations. The Premier said measures are underway to provide compensation package to the families of martyrs within 24 hours while injured are being provided best possible medical facilities. Narendra Modi in a bid to get votes in the upcoming elections has adopted aggressive stance against Pakistan but Pakistani nation is on one page to counter all the nefarious designs of the enemy, he remarked. Welcoming the decision of boycotting OIC foreign minister conference, he said Indian aggression at LoC and Working Boundary and massive human rights abuses in Indian held Kashmir should be exposed through effective diplomatic efforts.
