MUZAFFARABAD: (Parliament Times) The AJK minister for rehabilitation Raja Muhammad Siddique directed Joint Secretary Kashmir Council and Commissioner Rehabilitation to save the record of Kashmiri refugees settled in Pakistan through computerization.
Siddique pointed out that refugees’ record including state subjects, allotment of lands in the colonies in different places and other record is in Kashmir Council which is decaying. He said this record should be properly saved through computers by contacting AJK Information Technology Board.
He said officers should be deputed for scrutiny of the record before transferring it to the office of deputy commissioner rehabilitation Mirpur to save it through computerization. He directed commissioner rehabilitation to constitute a committee for this purpose and monitor the entire process himself. It would save the children of refugees from many problems, he remarked.
Meanwhile the minister paying rich tributes to the armed forces and PAF pilots who made the nation feel proud. It also boosted the morale of people of Kashmir who have been braving Indian brutalities with courage, he stated. He said we are all standing behind our armed forces under the leadership of Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan.
