Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) For the promotion of literary activities in the area, Rawalpindi Arts Council arranged a launching ceremony of Pakistani born US poet Dr Agha Shahid Khan’s three books.
The ceremony was presided over by Dr Inam ul Haq Javed and famous artist Farooq Qaiser was chief guest while renowned actress Kanwal Naseer was guest of honor. Masood Khawaja, Dr Tahir Shaheer, Khawar Lon and others addressed on the occasion and threw light on the life and work of Dr Agha Shahid Khan. The speakers said that Dr Agha Shahid Khan has great contribution in Urdu literature which would be remembered for ever.
