LONDON: AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan said Narendra Modi in a bid to enhance its vote bank in the Indian elections staged the drama of Pulwama incident but it bounced back and he was miserably exposed to the world.
Talking to media at Heathrow Airport he said India out of war frenzy launched attack against Pakistan but Pakistani forces dashed its arrogance to the ground by downing its two war planes and capturing one pilot.
He lambasted the Indian accusation that there was a terrorist camp at Neeli in my constituency. Categorically rejecting the Indian accusation, he said there was a refugee camp at Neeli close to the road. Back home I would take media along to Neeli to let the world know about it, he added
Terming debate on Kashmir in British Parliament first time in 71 years, he said it was a great success and a morale boosting to people of Occupied Kashmir who have been braving Indian brutalities since long.
Mr. Haider denounced the negative role of Indian media and said it was fueling the fire instead cooling things down at a time when the armed forces of both countries concentrated on the borders. Indian media was distorting the facts and instigating the whole nation for a war, he remarked. They are still talking of war instead of reciprocating the good will gesture shown by Prime Minister Imran Khan by releasing Indian pilot, he observed.
The Prime Minister said he was in constant contact with his ministers, chief secretary and rest of the state machinery and would fly home as soon as the flights to Pakistan resumed. On his directions his ministers had been visiting the Line of Control to monitor the situation, he maintained.
