Rawalpindi: Excise and taxation department Rawalpindi has decided to suspend the registration of open transfer letter vehicles from March 15.
This decision was taken in the light of safe city project.
According to excise officials the use of open transfer letter vehicles is illegal.
They said during checking, these vehicles will be impounded and locked in the police stations.
Citizens have been informed that they should register such vehicles in owner’s name to avoid any inconvenience .
