IOC suspends talks with India on hosting Olympic events

Switzerland: International Olympic Committee (IOC) has suspended talks on allowing India to host future sports events after India denied to issue visas to two Pakistani shooters.
IOC has also said to international federations not to allow India to host sports events .
It has been said that India should not be allowed to host future sports events till it will make sure end of bias in sports and follow Olympics charter.
Pakistani shooters G M Bashir and Khalil Ahmad had applied for visa in order to take part in the qualifier matches to be held at India for Olympic Games in 2020; however after Pulwama attack India didn’t issue visas to them.
IOC said that India will not be allowed making arrangements for any game related to Olympics till it gives written assurance of holding sports without any discrimination.
Executive board of International Olympic committee decided that discussions regarding NOC issued to India for holding Olympic Games will remain suspended till it assures implementation of Olympic rules without any prejudice.
IOC also made a recommendation to International federation that it should not hold Olympic Games in India till it meets the respective requirements.
