Muzaffarabad: A rally staged from Burhan Wani Chowk to Gharipan under the aegis of Pasban e Hurriyat and International Forum for Justice and Human Rights on Monday against Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir besides harassment and beaten Kashmiri students in Indian cities after Pulwama attack.
According to details, protestors in rally were holding banners and placards, glimpses of Crown Prince Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Muhammad Bin Salman (MBS) were sited on different banners and placards with captions, “We appeal Crown Prince Kingdom of Saudi Arabia H.E Muhammad Bin Salman to help Kashmiri people who are suffering Indian State terrorism in occupied Jammu and Kashmir” was the main banner of marchers.
Protestors were also chanting slogans against Indian government, Indian extremist parties, Bajrang Dal, Shiv Sena and RSS, “We want freedom, Go India Go Back” were among the main slogans.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali said that Jammu and Kashmir belongs to Muslim Ummah, “tyranny and oppression is still continue in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) but it cannot stop our freedom movement” he said.
He said that human rights have been violated in IOK since long, “our youngsters have been targeted, homes and shops of civilians are burned every day, and situation in IOK is transformed into a military prison” Ghazali maintained.
He said that Kashmiri Muslims are being targeted, beaten and threatened in Jammu including other educational institutes in India, “India has jeopardized the situation in occupied Kashmir and United Nations must take stern notice on it” he demanded.
Vice Chairman International Forum for Justice and Human rights Mushtaq ul Islam on the occasion condemned the Indian atrocities and human rights violations in IOK, saying that human rights violations in IOK seek global attention as people of every age are suffering Indian brutalities at every nook and corner in IOK.
Ameer Jamat ud Dawa Abdul Aziz Alvi said that Indian atrocities compelled Kashmiri youngsters to raise their voice, “they have decided that they will not compromise on anything but freedom” he said.
People of Kashmir appealed Saudi Crown Prince MBS to take notice of ongoing situation in Occupied Kashmir and problems being faced by Kashmiri people in different Indian cities.
Shaukat Javed Mir, Usman Ali Hashim, Hamza Shaheen, Qazi Muhammad Khushal, Mehfooz Inqabali and others also addressed the occasion.
