ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to build Malal and Burma bridges immediately.
Malal bridge will be constructed over Lehtrar road as traffic jams have become daily routine for want of this bridge in the respective area. Lehtrar road was constructed during Musharraf regime but the bridge was not erected.
Directives have been issued to invite tenders for construction of Burma bridge. This bridge will be built at the cost of Rs 162 millions. PC-1 of this project has already been approved. Second bridge will be built near PINSTEC and its cost has been estimated at Rs 225 million. Its tender will also be invited soon.
