Islamabad: (Parliament Times) The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter held a meeting in Islamabad with its Convener, Saiyyed Abdullah Gilani in chair.
The meeting took place at the chapter’s Islamabad office, yesterday, and it was attended by representatives of the constituents of APHC-AJK chapter. The participants of the meeting discussed the prevailing grim situation in occupied Kashmir. It also talked about the Kashmir Solidarity Day that Pakistan observes on February 5 every year to pay tributes to the Kashmiris’ sacrifices and highlight their struggle for securing their right to self-determination.
On the occasion, the participants of the meeting thanked the government and people of Pakistan and expressed the hope that the country will not confine itself to observing Kashmir Day only but will continue its moral, diplomatic and political support to the people of Kashmir in their freedom struggle till the territory is freed from Indian bondage.
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Ishtiaq Hameed, Abdul Majeed Mir, Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoob, Muhammad Hussain Khateeb, Abdul Majeed Malik, Shamim Shawl, Adeel Mushtaq Wani, Nazir Karnai, Nisar Mirza, Sheikh Abdul Mateen and Imtiaz Wani participated in the meeting.
