MUZAFFARABAD: (Parliament Times) The AJK President, Sardar Masood Khan, Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan and Information Minister Raja Mushtaq Minhas while reiterating their all out support to their brethren in Indian occupied Kashmir have said the Kashmiris living on both sides of the ceasefire line and the world over will observe Indian Republic Day as a Black Day to mark their protest against India’s illegal and forcible occupation of Jammu and Kashmir.
In his message President Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan observed that Kashmiris on both divides and overseas are observing Black Day with renewed pledge that they would continue their struggle until complete liberation from India. He said Indian atrocities and state terrorism could not cool down Kashmiris determination for freedom. Kashmiris are up with their strong resistance against Indian forces’ tyrannies and human right abuses since 7 decades, he added. He said brute Indian forces tried all sorts of heinous tactics against innocent people of Kashmir but they remained steadfast on their stance of achieving complete liberation from India. On this day Kashmiris would made it clear to the world that India was big impediment in the way of their right to self-determination. He asked India to vacate Indian Occupied Kashmir from its forces in the light of UN resolutions and statements issued by international community at different forums. He said all the world powers had recognized Kashmir a resolvable conflict in the backdrop of atrocities and human rights abuses in IHK.
Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan in his message said that today Kashmiris are observing Black Day against forced occupation of Kashmir by India and make it clear to the world that they would not budge an inch from their principled stand of complete liberation from India. Paying rich tributes to the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs he said they kept alive the torch of liberation by offering their sacred blood. The Premier expressed profound thanks to international community, especially Britain and EU for highlighting Kashmir issue, in their respective countries, through conferences on Kashmir. He said world had promised Kashmiris through UN resolutions for holding right to self-determination in Kashmir to give an opportunity to people to exercise their free will to determine their future but unfortunately this promise has not been honoured yet for inexplicable reasons. He said international community should realize that people of Kashmir had been shedding their precious blood for right to self-determination which is their fundamental right as per international principles. He assured the struggling people of IHK that they are not alone in their legitimate struggle for liberation. Their brethren from AJK stand like a rock with them in this hour of trial and tribulations, he added.
Information Minister Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas in his message assured people of IHK that people of Pakistan and AJK firmly stand behind them at a time when they were facing worst kinds of atrocities and brutalities at the hands of Indian forces. He said Pakistan and people of AJK would continue moral, political and diplomatic support of their brethren across the LoC. He said the stance of Kashmiris on Kashmir issue is crystal clear and unambiguous and added that people of Kashmir firmly believe that Kashmir was Indivisible. He said Pakistan wants meaningful and result oriented dialogue between India and Pakistan to resolve longstanding Kashmir issue.
