MUZAFFARABAD: (Parliament Times) Taking a serious notice on Friday of illegal use of official vehicles by officials of AJK, Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has directed all heads of the departments to ensure concrete steps for preventing illegal use of official vehicles in the state.
The Premier also took notice of the incident in which a female student of AJK University was crushed under an official vehicle in Muzaffarabad the other day. He sought a detailed and immediate report of the incident. He also sought the report of two persons who were killed in separate incidents by the vehicle of Additional Secretary Services. He directed the concerned officials to provide justice to the family of the unfortunate female students.
Mr. Haider categorically declared that no illegal use of officials in the territory of Azad Jammu and Kashmir would be tolerated by his government.
Meanwhile the Prime Minister called the explanation of officials of public health as to why basic health unit Khulidarman remained closed for three months. In this connection a letter has been written to DG Health by complaint section of Prime Minister Secretariat for a detailed report on closure of BHU Khulidarman. The PM taking notice of highway in Smahni from Jandala to Pirgali being in dilapidated condition and sought a report from public works department on it. In another case of burglary of shops in Thothal in Mirpur. Taking notice, he has asked law enforcers as to they failed to nab the robbers. PM Secretariat has sought a detailed report of the incident and what action had been taken on it.
