Committee constituted for improvement in three allied hospitals at RWP

RAWALPINDI: Punjab government has constituted a committee for bringing improvement in the availability of medicines and medical facilities in the three allied hospitals in Rawalpindi besides seeking recommendations of the committee through a report within 48 hours.
Secretary specialized Health care and medical education has constituted a 5-member committee to work out report in respect of Benazir Bhutto General Hospital, Holy Family hospital and district headquarters hospital.
A committee comprising Dr Fayyaz Ahmad Butt, MS Ganga Ram Hospital Lahore, Dr Nasir Mehmood Shakir deputy secretary SHCME Department , Dr Khalid Hussain Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Dr Shahbaz Ashraf director HMIS, Dr Muhammad Naeem Malik Field Coordinator MMPU Lahore has been tasked to review operational and technical management issue in these three hospitals with reference to patient care and propose solution of the problems on short term and long term basis.
Committee has been directed to visit all wards particularly emergency wards of these three hospitals, review the lack of facilities and make recommendations for addressing the problems.
