AJK PM strongly denounces intensification of Indian forces atrocities in IOK


RAWALAKOT: (Parliament Times) The AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has strongly denounced intensification of Indian forces atrocities in India held Kashmir.In an interview here on Sunday he said martyring of six Kashmiris in Tral is ample proof of Indian forces frenzy of annihilating Kashmiri youth from the IOK. He was of the view that people in Pakistan and AJK should also intensify protest demonstrations against the fresh Indian killings of Kashmiri youth.He said India was also giving vent to its frustration by indiscriminate shelling from across the LoC at Athmuqam and Rawalakot sector. Dozens of youth were targeted by bullets in Pulwama in the last week, he added. “Despite biting chill in the held valley Indian forces have made it a routine to carry out siege and search operations of every house in the valley. Children and elderly people are subjected to stand in the open for hours by the forces”, he stated.The Premier said India had come down to third degree torture in IHK which made people’s life a living hell. What can be more torturous than it that APHC leader FarooqAhmed Dar was not released on pay role to attend the funeral of her mother, he questioned and added that it was a flagrant violation of basic human rights.Mr. Haider appealed the major powers that wield veto power to take notice of the damages caused by Indian forces to the region and made India accountable for its human rights abuses in IHK.
