Four UBG FPCCI VP candidates elected unopposed

LAHORE : The business community has reposed full confidence on United Business Group (UBG) by electing unopposed its four candidates contesting elections for the slot of vice presidents in the annual elections of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) 2019 .
Sharing details with media persons here on Friday, UBG Central Chairman and veteran trade leader Iftikhar Ali Malik said Ismael Sattar from Balochistan Chamber, Muhammad Ijaz Khan Abbasi from Islamabad Chamber, Waqar Mehmood
Khan from Sakhar Chamber and Hajji Iftikhar Ahmed from Abbottabad have been elected unopposed.
He said that UBG has fielded best of the best and strong candidates enjoying the highest degree of integrity, coupled with spirit of devotion and service for the promotion of trade in the country. He said the support of the maximum chambers in the country shows that they are satisfied over the work of the UBG-backed FPCCI current president who had revamped the institution by ensuring merits in local and foreign exhibition through balloting process.
He said the opposition could not dare field any candidate matching the caliber of UBG candidates which resulted in winning of all these four slots of VPs and this reflected the unflinching repose of the confidence on the top leadership of the group. He said now good governance speaks in all affairs of the federation which he added is a hallmark of the UBG policies.
Malik said the UBG had an agenda of focusing specially on the small and women chambers in order to give respect to the small businessmen. The FPCCI policies would be framed too in accordance with the chambers consensus and the business community, he added.
