Reforms in government departments PTI’s top priority : Bharwana

Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) Punjab Minister for Cooperatives Muhammad Aslam Bharwana has said that reforms in government departments and improving their performance on modern lines is the priority of PTI government and working on the same lines, the Cooperatives Department Rawalpindi will take measures to repair and renovate 140 shops located in Aabpara Market, Islamabad owned by the department so that these shops could be rented at the market value. He said the properties owned by the department located at the prime locations will be utilized in the profitable manner.
He said this while taking to officers of Cooperatives department Rawalpindi. He directed the officers to speed up investigations in to robbery of 39-kg gold valuing at around 120 million rupees and 10 lac cash in the Punjab Cooperatives Bank on June 12, 2018. He also talked to CPO Rawalpindi Ahsan Abbas and discussed matter with him. He said the concerning officer should take up the matter with authorities to retrieve the occupation of a costly piece of land located in Chakwal.
