RAWALPINDI: People have voiced strong protest for not making 3 dispensaries of Cantonment Board Rawalpindi functional even after four years of their construction.
According to media reports, buildings of two dispensaries were constructed out of cantonment fund and building of third dispensary was built out of funds of former MNA Malik Ibrar Ahmad.
The construction work of two dispensaries located in Ahmad Abad and Dhok Gujran was started out of cantonment fund during the tenure of former cantonment chief executive officer Fahim Zafar 4 years back while former MNA Malik Ibrar Ahmad had provided grant for construction of dispensary in Azam
Abad.
Decision has been taken to make two dispensaries functional which are located in Azam Colony and Ahmad Abad.
Cantonment general hospital stands overburdened with patients due to non operationlization of these three dispensaries.
