2nd phase of interviews for accreditation cards completed

MUZAFFARABAD: (Parliament Times) The second phase of interviews for accreditation cards under Azad Jammu and Kashmir Press Foundation completed.
36 candidates from Muzaffarabad, Poonch division, Rawalpindi/Islamabad who got through in written test appeared for interviews. Of these candidates who qualified written test 8 were from Bagh, 5 from Poonch, 3 from Haveli, 1 from Pallandri, 3 from Muzaffarabad, 2 from Neelum, 1 from Hattian and 12 from Rawalpindi/Islamabad. 9 candidates who qualified written test could not appear for interview.
In the light of order of Chairman Press Foundation Raja Sadaquat Hussain, the meeting of press foundation was held here on Sunday. It was attended by Vice Chairman of PF Sardar Zulfiqar Ali, Additional Secretary Law Raja Zahid Mehmood Khan and others.
The former vice chairman Amjad Chaudhry, and members Board of Governor Shahzad Ahmed Rathor and Hayat Awan attended the meeting as commentator. Deputy Director Information Muhammad Bashir Mirza, Assistant Secretary foundation Syed Basharat Hussain Kazmi and Assistant foundation Ziaur Rehman also attended the meeting.
Three female candidates belonging to Poonch division also appeared in interview for accreditation card, first time in the history of AJK.
On this occasion approval was given for repealing of membership after confirmation of bar council of member press foundation from Abbaspure Shahbal Khan, and submission of reply to Chairman within 15 days of Mr. Rai Masoum from Kotli. The results for membership to journalists from all over AJK would be announced within a week, says a press release of press foundation.
