RAWALPINDI: WASA Rawalpindi has issued red notices to 20 major parks of Pakistan Horticulture Authority (PHA) all over Rawalpindi for severing their water connections being defaulters on payment of water bills.
According to media reports these parks are not paying water bills since last one year. Wasa has launched crackdown against the water bills defaulters to overcome financial crisis.
Through the notices issued to parks it has been said that the outstanding dues of Rs 4 million be paid within a week failing which water connections will be snapped.
WASA has issued notices to all water bills defaulters directing them to pay outstanding bills by the end of this month. Crackdown for disconnecting water supply to the defaulters has also been started.
