PM AJK holds condolence reference for Sardar Khalid Ibrahim Khan

RAWALAKOT: (Parliament Times) Another big condolence reference was held at Rawalakot on Saturday for Sardar Khalid Ibrahim Khan who was a man of principle, symbol of ourage and boldness.
Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan who was chief guest on the occasion, paying rich tributes to the political and social services of late Khan said he was an eloquent and articulate speaker. The Premier said Khalid was an incorruptible, hospitable and courageous leader of this state whose death is an irreparable loss to all of us. He would always be remembered, especially by the parliament for a long time, he added.
AJK legislative assembly would hold condolence reference for late Khan on Friday, he disclosed. He asked the people of Poonch to follow his footprints as Sardar Khalid Ibrahim lived a neat and clean life and carry forward the mission left by him.
“Our families had close relations since long time. Although we represented different political parties yet our relation remained cemented” he said. He expressed hope that Javed Ibrahim Khan and sons of Khalid Ibrahim Khan would maintained the traditions left by Khalid.
The Premier said the land of Poonch produced many great leaders like Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim Khan, Sardar Muhammad Abdul Qayyum Khan, Khan Bahadur Khan, Mansha Khan, Naqi Khan, who rendered tremendous services for the State. When Muslim Conference split and a struggle for democracy kicked off my father was standing with people of Poonch, he stated.
Sardar Javed Ibrahim, President PPP Ch. Latif Akbar, leader of the opposition Ch. Muhammad Yasin, former Prime Minister Sardar Muhammad Yaqub Khan, Minister Health Dr. Najeeb Naqi, MLA Rashid Turabi, MLA Amir Altaf, Sardar Ghulam Sadiq Khan, MLA Sardar Muhammad Sagheer Chughtai, MLA Malik Muhammad Nawaz, Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi, Retd. Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Nawaz, Sardar Tahir Anwar, Sardar Shamshad Advocate and Muhammad Advocate also addressed paying rich tributes to the services of late Khalid Ibrahim Khan.
