SRINAGAR: Welcoming the statement of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) about reiterating its full support to the Kashmiri people, Jammu Kashmir National Front deputy chairman, Altaf Hussain Wani today said that Kashmiris desperately need such support so that they are saved from being wiped out by Indian forces.
The National Front deputy chairman said in a statement that Kashmiris are being massacred every now and then and their blood is being flown like water only for demanding their right to self determination. They are being killed by the Indian forces and New Delhi is busy in labelling the freedom loving Kashmiris as terrorists. The irony is that world also listens to the false Indian propaganda.
India at the same time has filled the jails in and outside Jammu Kashmir and the prisoners are facing worst kinds of torture. They are not produced before courts in time; they are not provided bails and even placed in detentions without any trail for months together.
Now an operation to kill the pro-freedom leaders and activists has been started to terrorise the people who have rendered tremendous sacrifices in the way of the freedom.
This all is being done by a country claiming to be the largest democracy of the world. So Kashmiri people need the support of organisations like OIC so that Indian atrocities on Kashmiri people are exposed.
Meanwhile, the National Front deputy chairman paid rich and glowing tributes to those martyred in Bijbehara area of south Kashmir. He expressed deep shock and grief over the martyrdom of six brave hearts.
