MUZAFFARABAD: (Parliament Times) Prime Minister, Azad Kashmir has appreciated the peace and security arrangements made by the district administration to celebrate Eid Miladun Nabi (SWS).
Addressing the participants of Milad procession in Madina Market he said his government has decided to celebrate this day officially. He lauded central Seerat Committee’s efforts for holding milad rally with great pump and show also maintaining the discipline.
“It is an essential part of our beliefs to display love, passion and devotion with the Holy Prophet (PBUH). My government would celebrate this day with religious sanctity and reverence every year” he vowed.
The Premier who himself led the Milad procession from Madina Market to Upper Adda said “we all ought to follow the teachings of the prophet in letter and spirit and evolve unity to combat the anti-Islam forces that are out to harm the religious harmony and spare no effort in planting the seeds of dissension among the Muslims ranks and files”. We can succeed in this world and hereafter only after strictly following the teachings of the Prophet, he added.
Mr. Haider emphasized the Islamic scholars and Ulema to apprise the young generation with the true spirit of teachings of Islam and Sunnah of the prophet.
He credited his government for passing the law of Khatm-e-Naboowat in AJK. Quoting a couplet of great poet and philosopher Allama Muhammad Iqbal “Kee Muhammad se wafa tone to ham tere hain, ye jahan cheez kia hail Loh-o-qalam tere hain” he said it is reflection of every Muslims’ feelings about the Holy Prophet.
Mr. Haider stressed the youth to deeply study the life and seerat of the prophet and practice in their own lives. They should seek guidance from the teachings and life of Prophet Muhammad, he remarked.
Meanwhile a 50 member delegation of representatives of PML-N from Poonch/Sudhnuti-3 called on the Prime Minister and exchanged with him matters related to by-election and party organization. The delegation gave its suggestions regarding the upcoming by-election in Poonch. The Prime Minister told the delegation that he would give his decision on PML-N candidate only after consulting the senior leadership of the party.
