    RAC arranges stage play ‘Anar ki Kali’

    RAWALPINDI: (Parliament Times) To encourage the drama artists of twin cities, a stage play “Anar ki Kali” was arranged under aegis of Rawalpindi Arts Council here on Monday night. The play was written by Azhar Feroz and directed by Shama Niazi while senior artist Ehsan Qureshi, Azhar Feroz, Shama Niazi, Reha Yousaf, Imran Rushdi, Tehsin Victor and Faqeer Hussain were in leading caste. It was a humorous play and based on social issue. Senior artist Aasma Butt was chief guest of the play. Speaking on the occasion, Director RAC Waqar Ahmed said the Council has been utilizing all available resources for the betterment of artist community by providing them platform. He also said that artists can apply for commercial drama which is being commenced from 1st December 2018.
