Chairman standing committee on interior takes notice of murder of SP Tahir Khan Dawar

Islamabad: Chairman standing committee on interior Rehman Malik has taken notice of horrendous murder of SP Tahir Khan Dawar in Afghanistan.
Senator Rehman Malik through a letter has raised questions with interior ministry on all the aspects of kidnapping and murder of SP Tahir Dawar.
Interior ministry should file comprehensive report in committee on all the aspects of murder of Shaheed Tahir Dawar till November 20. Parliament can not keep mum over such heinous incidents. Reaching the facts is imperative. Afghan government is answerable to Pakistan that who murdered Shaheed SP Tahir Dawar and how it happened.
He said Afghan government should tell how it came to know that mutilated body was of Shaheed Tahir Dawar. It seems as if Afghan intelligence agencies knew about the identity and location of Tahir Dawar.
Malik further said interior ministry should tell what steps were taken for recovery of Shaheed Tahir Dawar after his kidnapping.
He said police had made what headway on the kidnapping of SP Tahir Dawar. What actions were taken by Islamabad and KP police for recovery of SP Tahir Dawar. What matter should be taken up with Interpol that Kabul should provide report about murder of Tahir Dawar.
The PPPs leader said that Afghan government should provide murder report to government of Pakistan in line with principles and SOP of Interpol.
He said a foreign hand can be behind the incident. Reaching the fact is imperative. Government should bring the killers to justice as soon as possible, he demanded.
