ISLAMABAD: Policy talks between Pakistan and IMF will commence from today.
Pakistan economic team will be led by Finance Minister Asad Omar during the policy talks. The steps for curbing money laundering can come under discussion in the meeting. Pakistan will have to present complete strategy on money laundering matter. The moves for reining in tax evasion can be considered as well. Demand for raising tax income will also be raised in the meeting.
