ISLAMABAD: Federal government teachers have voiced protest over non formulation of their rules saying lack of service rules has hindered the process of their promotion.
According to media reports, Federal Government Teachers Association (FGTA) has said that teachers working in government educational institutions in Islamabad stand deprived of rules since 2011 which should be enacted and implemented forthwith so that promotion process of the teachers could be materialized.
FGTA said Time scale promotion is put on hold since the last two years and as many as 600 TGT, SST, Computer, physical, vice principal, principals, male and female teachers have not been given promotion under time scale pay for want of rules.
The federal teachers have called for formation of rules immediately so that they could enjoy their legitimate right of promotion accordingly.
