ZHOB: A Balochistan Constabulary (BC) personnel battling for his life as he is confined to bed for the last three years.
Belonging to a hand-to-mouth family, thirty-year-old Fazal Rehman has been bedridden since he had critically injured a road accident on highway in 2016.
Poverty-stricken Fazal’s father Muhammad Amin Nasar, who runs a shop in Zhob bazaar to earn livelihood for his family, has been running from pillar to post for the last few years to get treated his ailing son taking him to Quetta, Dera Ismail Khan, Multan and Karachi hospitals for treatment. His entire family has been suffering the pangs of Fazal’s life-long agony.
“My son is lying in coma since a long time, I have spent all of my available wealth on his treatment and now unable to continue the treatment any longer due to financial constraints.” The distressed father recalls the difficulties as the tears rolling down his face.
The doctors say, Fazal is suffering from head injury and the treatment is only possible in USA and European countries that requires Rs.20 million, but his low income father is unable to afford the expenses of treatment.
He has appeals to the federal and provincial government, philanthropists and well-off people to save the life of his young son and help him for his treatment as he is pinning hope to the treatment abroad.
