Lahore: Provincial Minister of Punjab for information and Culture Fayyaz ul Hasan Chohan has said that the assassination of Jamaat e Ulema-e- Islam (S) chief Maulana Sami Ul Haq and SHO Rang Mahal police station Zahid Mehmood in Muridke were not terrorism incidents.
While taking to a private media channel on Tuesday, Chohan said that both personalities were killed upon personal enmity.
It is vital to mention here that JUI (S) Chief Maulana Sami ul Haq was stabbed to death at his residence during Friday evening on Nov 2 while SHO Ring Road Police Station Zahid Mehmood was suffered serious injuries after some unidentified armed masked men opened fire upon him while his way to Lahore from his home who later expired while the way to hospital.
