Newly elected MLA, Sardar Amir Altaf, takes oath of office

MUZAFFARABAD: (Parliament Times) The newly elected MLA of AJK Sardar Amir Altaf took oath of his office here on Thursday.
Addressing on the occasion he assured that he would leave no stone unturned to complete the mission left by his great grandfather late K.B. Khan.
Amir gave credit of his success to AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan and said other ministers including Senior Minister Ch. Tariq Farooq, Dr. Najeeb Naqi, Barrister Iftikhar Gillani, Chaudhry Muhammad Aziz, Mushtaq Minhas and deputy speaker Sardar Muhammad Farooq Tahir also made remarkable efforts for his campaigning in the poll.
Amir also hit out on opposition for what he called hurling of baseless accusations and said it has been our culture that instead of accepting the victory of a candidate in elections losing candidates come up with different charges and accusations against the winner.
