Health Department confirms two polio cases in Bajur

Peshawar: Health Department in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa confirmed on Thursday that polio virus has infected two children in Bajur district.
A 7 years old child in main Bajur and a 5 years girl in union council Katkot have been infected with a polio virus, the health department said.
Prime Minister’s focal person Babur Bin Ata also confirmed two polio cases in the area, while the Health Department has said that both the children have been vaccinated.
It’s worth mentioning , that erstwhile tribal areas (now KPK areas) have seen 3 polio cases in this year.
