Islamabad: Fog threat has been averted as Meteorological Department Thursday predicted rain in various areas of the country.
The department said that rains in next week are expected; therefore the fog threat has been averted . Government has taken the timely precautionary measures to avoid the threat of heavy fog in this year and it has also worked.
However, it warned, that fog enveloping the Indian cities can affect the neighboring Pakistani areas.
Experts have urged the people to take precautionary measures to avoid smog.
