ISLAMABAD: United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador Hamad Obaid Alzaabi in Islamabad on Wednesday called on Planning Minister Makhdum Khusro Bakhtyar and the two exchanged views on boosting investment and strengthening bilateral relations.
Khusro Bakhtyar said during the meeting that Pakistan and UAE are enjoying brotherly ties and it is our endeavor that bilateral relations are further bolstered.
He held “ we have evolved friendly policies for foreign investors and opportunities at large scale exist for making investment in energy sector particularly in petro-chemical and hydel power . generation sectors. UAE can benefit by making investment in these sectors, he added.
We hold in high esteem UAE investment in PARCO and we hope that new avenues will be explored to impart new dimension to mutual economic cooperation, he remarked.
He indicated Pakistan will fully participate in EXPO-2020 in Dubai. EXPO-2020 will further bolster mutual cooperation between the two countries in near future.
He underlined that Pakistan community was playing a vital role in the development of UAE and this is serving as bridge between the two countries.
He expressed optimism that UAE will also consider initiating humanitarian projects in South Punjab
UAE ambassador said the bilateral ties between two countries will touch new peaks of friendship in future. He invited Khusro Bakhtyar to participate in government summit taking place in UAE next year.
