Rawalpindi: Punjab Government (PG) has extended till October 31st the Anti- Measles Campaign (AMC) all over province including Rawalpindi.
During the campaign in Rawalpindi 882000 children have been injected anti measles vaccines.
On Sunday officers of Health Department, paramedical staffers including the staffers of supporting departments with the anti measles teams remained active in the densely populated areas of Rawalpindi city and cantonment to inject the children who could not avail this facility for any reasons.
District Superintendent Vaccines Chaudhry Mohammad Hussain has told that CEO Health Dr. Khalid Mahmood, District Health Officer Dr. Uzma Hayat under the leadership Dr. Tahir Rizvi teams are active in injecting anti measles vaccines to children in all union councils. He said that during the campaign any indifference and absence on part of the staffers will be sternly dealt with.
