Larkana: The former home minister and the member of provincial Assembly Sindh (MPA) Mr. Sohail Anwer Siyal’s father named Ali Anwer Siyal has been passed away on Saturday due to the heart attack. According to the details, Ali Anwer Siyal was 72 years old. His Nimaz-e-Janaza was offered at his native village Fareed Abad. The chief minister (CM) of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah arrived at Larkana and condoled the death of Ali Anwer Siyal. Many politicians, socialists and citizens of Larkana arrived at Fareed Abad and offered “Nimaz-e-Janaza” for rest his soul in peace.
27th anniversary of the great singer of Sindh Ustad Gulzaar Ali Khan:
Larkana: The 27th anniversary of the great and singer of Sindh named Ustad Gulzaar Ali Khan has organised by Musical department of ‘Arts Council of Pakistan Larkana’. According to the details, the Arts Council of Pakistan Larkana’s president Mr. Aziz Sangi, Vice president Mr. Javed Shaikh, Secretary Mr. Riaz Soomro, Finance secretary Munawar Rind along with the cooperative people of different departments, writers, socialist, actors and singers participated in the event. On that occasion, the participants addressed to the event that Ustad Gulzaar Ali Khan was the big name in the history of singing. They said, he is no more with us but his act will always be remembered. In the last of the event, there was distributed award among the writers, actors, singers and the educators.
Entry tests for 3 medical collages:
Larkana: The entry tests for 3 medical collages have been taken from children by NTS in the supervision of ‘Shaheed Muhatarma Benazeer Bhutto Medical University’s (SMBBMU) administration. According to the details, of the media coordinator of University Mr. Abdul Samad Bhatti, entry tests of the Chandka Medical Collage Larkana, Ghulam Muhammad Mahar Collage Sukkur and Bibi Asifa Dental Collage Larkana. According to the sources, the entry test for 250 seats of Chandka Medical Collage and 50 seats of Bibi Asifa Dental Collage was taken place at Police Training Center (PTS) Larkana. The entry test for 100 seats of Ghulam Muhammad Mahar Collage Sukkur was taken place at IBA public school Sukkur. 3600 students participated for the entry tests of medical collages, even that the 49 students were absent. The 1250 boys and 2003 girls appeared for entry test in Ghulam Muhammad Mahar Collage. The security was planned by Sindh Rangers and Sindh Police. Vice chancellor of SMBBMU Mrs. Aneela Atta-u-Rahman watched out the administration of test blocks and watched the live telecast through CCTV cameras.
