Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui approaches SC against his dismissal


Islamabad: Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui has challenged the decision of Supreme Judicial Council of his dismissal in the Supreme Court (SC).
Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui while filing a petition in the apex court against his dismissal took the plea that supreme judicial council didn’t give him the right of fair trial under Article10 of the constitution of Pakistan and he was deprived of his legal right.
Petitioner said that he was not given his legal and equal right under Article 4 and Article 25 of the constitution of Pakistan.
All the proceeding of judicial council is contrary to law and court decisions.
Petitioner further said that Supreme Judicial Council should have conducted inquiry into all allegations.
Aziz said that the purpose behind all the proceedings was to prevent him from becoming chief justice of High Court.
Siddiqui while challenging the report of judicial council said that there was ill intent in the recommendation of council in respect of his termination.
He prayed SC that he should be restored as judge of Islamabad High Court .
