Islamabad: Accountability Court has decided to hear Nandi Pur Power project reference after wrapping up trial references against Nawaz Sharif.
AC court judge Muhammad Arshad Malik took up the Nandi Pur Power Project case against former Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and PTI leader Babar Awan for hearing on Wednesday.
During the course of hearing, Judge Muhammad Arshad remarked, “court is busy in hearing references against Nawaz Sharif as apex court has given a deadline of Nov 17 to wrap up cases against Nawaz”.
On the other hand, NAB has filed parawise reply on Babar Awan plea of acquitted while court has given exemption from appearance to Raja Pervaiz Ashraf till date of indictment.
After hearing, court adjourned the proceeding of indicting 7 suspects including Raja Pervaiz former PM, PTI Leader Babar Awan in Nandi Pur reference.
Moreover, court has adjourned the hearing till Nov 26.
Court also decided to hear corruption reference against Yousaf Raza Gillani after wrapping up Nawaz cases and adjourned the hearing till Nov 23.
