RCB inaugurates 15 days campaign for neat and clean city

RAWALPINDI: On this occasion deputy executive officer of cantonment board Bilal Rasheed, president trade union cant Zafar Qadri, vice president Malik Munir and selected member of cantonment board , Assist Sec Qaiser Mehmood, Chief senatory inspector Waris Bhatti, Senior vice president private schools and collages association and head of all branches and staff was present there. Ceremony was started by Assist Sec Qaiser Mehmood. President cantonment board Brig Shahzad Tanveer said to all staff it’s our duty and priority to keep cant neat and clean and told staff do this with good will and as a virtue and put all garbage in dust bins. Staff should work more hard to make this campaign more successful as they have done in earlier campaigns and Mr. President announced some gifts and awards for those workers who will do best. President cantonment board Brig Shahzad Tanveer vice president Malik Munir ,selected members trade union cant Zafar Qadri, senior vice president private school collages Naseer Ahmed Assist Sec Qaiser Mehmood and head of different branches started neat and clean cant campaign by brooming on road after that they started a cleanliness and health walk on mall road in which citizens participated as well and they distributed pamphlets about health and cleanliness to the pedestrians and people were going in vehicles. This campaign will be from 23rd October to 6 Nov 2018. In this ceremony print and electronic media representatives appealed to public to contribute more and more in this campaign for health and cleanliness so we will make cant area neat and clean. While yesterday due to efforts of cant organization and workers 487 ton of garbage dumped while staff was working till late night.
