Islamabad: The Secretariat Police have arrested Dr. Shehla Shakil Sethi who threatened cops for preventing her to enter Diplomatic Enclave in a vehicle sans number plate.
According to police Dr. Shehla Shakil Sethi has been arrested from Islamabad government housing society.
According to sources Dr. Sethi was doctor in America and recently came back to Pakistan. Police will request for her remand by presenting her before the Duty Magistrate.
Dr. Shehla Shakil Sethi has been accused of interfering in the government duty and threatening police officials.
Earlier on Saturday a case was registered against her in the Secretariat Police Station.
Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Afridi had taken notice of the incident and advised the police to submit a detailed investigative report as soon as possible. He further had said that action should be taken against her in accordance with the law as in “New Pakistan” no one is VIP and all were equal before the law.
