Muzaffarabad: Chairman Hizb ul Mujahideen Syed Salah ud din said that educated youngsters have become an essential part of the freedom movement of Kashmir, the just solution of Kashmir issue is indigenous armed struggle against Indian armed forces.
While addressing a massive rally here on Sunday, Syed Salah ud din vowed that seven decades long struggle proved that India never wanted a peaceful solution of Kashmir, “armed struggle for our liberation from Indian occupation is inevitable” he said.
He reiterated that Kashmir freedom movement remained peaceful till 1990, but history revealed that India always tried to sabotage and presented that this issue cannot be resolved peacefully by targeting innocent civilians, “every single person in Indian occupied Kashmir including young men, women, students and elders have come to an understanding that armed struggle is the only solution of Kashmir issue” Salah ud din stated.
“This is the reason that many youngsters in Kashmir joined armed struggle like Burhan Wani; similarly educated scholars like Dr. Manan Wani, Prof. Muhammad Rafi Butt embrace martyrdom after becoming part of armed freedom struggle like Maqbool Bhatt, Ashfaq Majeed Wani, Ali Muhammad Dar, Masood Tantray, Shams ul Haq and many others” syed maintained.
He said that these martyrs performed a starring role with their guns besides their pen, “our armed struggle for freedom now have educated freedom fighters who can compete more effectively with Indian forces” he added.
He lamented that in the manner through which the United Nations Human Rights Commission had presented its report, United Nations should take action against the Indian atrocities but unfortunately people of Kashmir still seeking attention. He said that UNHRC declared Kashmir as most atrocious area regarding human rights violations.
He added that India is constantly violating human rights and the situation in Indian Occupied Kashmiri has become more deteriorating, many hurriyat leaders are under house arrest in addition of endangering many women prisoners including leaders among them.
Syed Salah ud din paid rich tribute to the martyrdom of Kashmir freedom struggle and said that indigenous freedom struggle will accomplish its mission before long.
Syed Salah ud din, in his address, urged the government of Pakistan to highlight the importance of Kashmir issue on global forums as it is a serious matter of human rights. He said that Indian atrocities must be highlighted by the government of Pakistan on diplomatic level. He said that we demand substantial support from the government of Pakistan on current situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
Earlier a rally of freedom fighters was held from Chehla Bridge to Red Fort Muzaffarabad under the leadership of Syed Salah ud din, a large number of youngsters including freedom fighters were present in the rally. People were chanting slogans against India atrocities, saying that ‘Kashmir ki Azadi tak, Jung Rahe gi (we will continue to fight till freedom).
