Reports about scrapping of railway project by Pakistan under CPEC have no substance: China
BEIJING: China while brushing aside the reports on scrapping railway project by Pakistan under CPEC has said Pakistan has extended full assurance of its cooperation in respect of different projects under flagship belt and road.
According to media report Lu Kang, spokesperson of Chinese foreign ministry while talking to media men said new Pakistani government has given full assurance of its cooperation regarding all projects under CPEC.
He said that several other reports in addition to abolition of railway project under CPEC are coming to fore through media since some time, however there is no substance in these reports.
He held that all the projects under CPEC will be translated into reality. CPEC is an economic and social movement forward. IMF has also made it clear in its report that Pakistan will have to bear no burden due to headway in CPEC.
