Punjab Govt decides to launch anti measles vaccination, awareness campaign in schools
Rawalpindi: In order to avert threat of spread of measles, the Government of Punjab has decided to launch a vaccination and awareness campaign at school level across the province including Rawalpindi.
According to sources the Government of Punjab has directed the Education and Health departments to hold seminars and walks beside door-to-door campaigns to create awareness among masses pertaining to the hazards, symptoms and precautions for measles .
Civil Society organizations, politicians, Students from Private and government school, colleges will participate in the campaign that will last till Oct 27.
The Punjab Government has also directed to exhibit banners inscribed with precautionary measure in populated areas of the province.
