“Meets Hussain Nawaz to condole death of his mother”
London: The former president & PM Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Muhammad Yaoob Khan has visited the Scottish Parliament wherein he briefed the parliamentarians about the prevailing political and human rights situation in Indian held territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to a press release issued here on Sunday the former president on the occasion was accompanied by Ameen Mirza, Raja Shiraz, A-D-Khan Farakh James (Vice President of PPP- Scotland) Raja Qaisar Manzoor Rehman and Faheem. The visiting delegation apprised the Scottish parliamentarians of the deteriorating human rights situation in held Kashmir. He urged the Scottish parliamentarians to come forward in a big way and play their due role pressurize the government of India to stop rights violations being inflicted upon the people of Kashmir.
Member Scottish Parliament Linda Fabioani (MSP), Sandra White (MSP), James Dornan (MSP) and Anas Sarwar (MSP) expressed their full support to Kashmiris’ right to self-determination and reiterated the importance of Human rights in the region.
Meanwhile, the former president visited the residence of Hussain Nawaz the son of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in London to condole the demise of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz. Expressing his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family Khan said that the deceased was a brave woman who struggled for the restoration of democracy in Pakistan. He also offered Fateh for the departed soul.
